Let the games begin

The London Olympics opened on Friday evening and the games have begun. Many people I know will be glued to the television over the next couple of weeks, cheering on their home country teams. Being half American/half Brit has it’s advantages in being able to hedge my bets between the 2 teams a little bit (go GB, go USA!).

I don’t think there are really very many ways to incorporate anything “Olympic themed” into a stylish home, but having said that, the sporting frenzy can inspire in more subtle ways, and I found myself thinking about these wonderful vintage prints from the Conde Nast archive. Aren’t they fabulous? I think they would look really great, especially in a sports fan’s home – perhaps in a powder room or in a sports-fan teenager’s bedroom?
